Free Range is a Truman Foundation project that supports and facilitates young artistic talent. Art & design graduates from all over the UK will showcase their work in a series of exhibitions, held in venues renowned for hosting cutting-edge events.

This third annual Free Range, supported by Creative Review, Design Week and Art Review, will once again take place at The Old Truman Brewery in London's East End during June and July. The site's individual mix of exhibition and workspace is the result of several years of re-generation and inward investment pushing forward the site's profile to becoming 'the creative hub of the east end,' as described by Time Out.

Due to the success of previous years, Free Range 2003 has established itself as one of the most significant graduate events in the art and design calendar. Moving in to its third year, Free Range is able to provide not only an outlet for viewing and exhibiting work in a traditional sense but also to create a platform for exhibitors to engage themselves in what we fully intend to become the premier recruiting ground for art & design graduates.

Free Range 2003 will run for 8 weeks with multiple exhibitions held weekly in different venues. Each college has selected one of The Brewery's industrial/warehouse style spaces where they will create their own individual show as part of the overall collection of exhibitions. Graduate work, from across the disciplines, will be shown, ranging from fine art and graphic design to photography, fashion, interior design and furniture design. Many of the exhibiting colleges have built up international reputations for innovative, challenging and quality art and design.
