The Kent Institute of Art & Design is a leading specialist institution of art, design and architecture education in the UK, with campuses at Rochester, Maidstone and Canterbury.

The Institute provides degrees and postgraduate studies in different areas of practice – Fine Art, Architecture, Design, Photography, Fashion, Media Arts & Communication Design – as well as Foundation and other further education courses.

Exhibition "2003 IL"
BA (Honours) Visual Communication at KIAD has a portfolio of closely related courses; Graphic Design, Illustration and Photography. Each is distinctive but the context of shared debate, teaching and resources allows individuals to develop their own direction and have an understanding of a wide range of contemporary practice in the field of media arts and communication design.
