Description
In May 2003, The Times newspaper ranked UWIC as 4th best of all UK new universities. In 2002, The Times again listed UWIC as top of all universities in England and Wales in their Access Elite table. In December 2001, national tables indicating student retention rates at all UK universities featured UWIC as fourth best of all the ‘new universities’ across the UK and having the lowest drop-out rate of all Wales’ new universities. We have an ongoing commitment to an old fashioned belief that ‘teaching’ is the core of our purpose. Students seemed to understand that. That’s why they stay with us.
