| E-mail | jam@jamfoto.com | | Sex | Male | | Description | As good craftsmen, many photographers were recreating buildings that were strongly different from each other but applying and repeating the same methods. Each project was handled with the same technique and did not allow for the variations in the buildings to dictate the shoot. This inevitably denied a specific sense of identity for both the photographer and the subject. The results were aesthetically sharp and technically pleasing but these craftsmen were using photography to draw architecture upon the page as design objects that were extraneous to their territorial reality.
What I point my attention to is to recreate the basic idea. The reason of ‘why’ is been done in such a way instead of another. And how that reason is reflecting my own interpretation of photography.
