The work currently being exhibited is ‘The Playing Frame.’ This is an installation and game that can change through participant interaction. It consists of a wooden sculpture, instructional illustrations and bags containing fabric shapes, ropes and bendy poles. The linear sculpture is like a line drawing that travels around two walls and the floor; It provides a frame for the poles to be fitted and the fabric to be tied onto. The look of the installation continually changes. The aesthetics at any one time will depend on the co-operation between what I have chosen to provide and what people have chosen to do with it. I offer people information on how to play, but not what the outcome has to be.
