Description
'RESEARCH ZONES'

We spend our entire lives in a continuum of built environment and architectural spaces reflect our cultural practice. I am interested in examining cultural practices through architectural photography.

‘Research Zones’ completed in book format, explores uninhabited spaces of scientific research, which nowadays has become a global but secluded practice. Without direct references to individuals or specific cultures ‘Research Zones’ aims to dispel the rational, ordered image of science and intends to reveal scientific research as a human experience. These spaces reflect the practice of scientific inquiry and the activities of the people working in them.

Part of this body of work has been exhibited in the Art Space of the National Institute for Medical Research, Mill Hill, London.
